Here Are 10 Effective Tips You can’t possibly cover everything on a topic - and you are not expected to - so you need to tell your reader how you have chosen to narrow the focus of your essay. There are over a dozen types of essays, so it’s easy to get confused. After you write your five sentences, it’s easy to fill in the paragraphs they will find themselves in.
